If you are a small business owner, you know how important it is to have tools that work for you. Here is a list of some of my favorite tools that help me get the job done each and every day.
Canva Pro - Graphic Design - My most used and loved app! Simple & easy to use, yet substantial and full of inspiration. Even my son enjoys using it to create fun & custom coloring sheets.
Photoshop - Advanced Graphic Design - I'm not an expert but when Canva can't do it all, this is what I use for more advanced graphic design.
Google Drive - File & Document Management - Great for document storage and makes sharing simple. Helps me keep client files organized and easy to access from anywhere.
Forest: Stay focused - I use this app when I am struggling to stay focused & hopping from one project to the next (this happens frequently). It helps me to break down my to-do list into bite-size pieces and focus on them for 20 minutes at a time, which helps prevent me from jumping back and forth between tasks.
QuickBooks - Booking Keeping/Invoicing - Honestly, I don't know if this really is my "favourite" app however it's what I'm currently using and it gets the job done.
Unsplash - Stock Photography - An amazing site to find high-quality royalty-free images. The talented individuals who share their work just ask to be credited for their photos. Amazing!
Notebook and Bic 4 Color Ballpoint Pen - Listen, this may sound a little over the top here but any old notebook will do. Do I like one with a cute cover? Sure! However, I am VERY particular about my pens and yes, it has to be the Bic 4 Color Ballpoint Pen. And while it may be "old school", there is just something great about putting Pen and Paper. The act of writing out ideas while you are brainstorming or actually crossing off the task on your to-do list is so satisfying.
